From intimate tastings and cozy pairings to immersive dining experiences and festive winter fun, the Ice Wine Festival is your invitation to experience one of the region’s most celebrated wine traditions.

March in Northeast Ohio means one thing for wine lovers: Ice Wine Festival season in the Grand River Valley. From March 1 through March 31, 2026, the Wine Growers of the Grand River Valley invite you to embrace winter’s most luxurious wine with a month-long celebration featuring ice wine tastings, food pairings, immersive experiences, and special events across the region.

Whether you’re an ice wine aficionado or simply ice-wine curious, this festival offers countless ways to sip, learn, and indulge.







Join the wineries of the Grand River Valley for an afternoon of ice wine sampling perfectly paired with appetizers for $10 per location. Participating wineries and distillery include:

  • Debonné Vineyards

  • Ferrante Winery & Ristorante

  • Grand River Cellars Winery & Restaurant

  • Laurello Vineyards

  • Cask 307 Winery

  • South River Vineyards

  • Red Eagle Distillery

Guests may visit all seven official participants in any order they choose. Each location will provide:

  • Samples of their ice wine

  • A thoughtfully paired appetizer

  • A souvenir cordial glass

Area maps will be available at each stop to help you plan your route and make the most of your day.


Ferrante Winery’s Iced-Out Wine Bar

Ferrante Winery invites guests to experience their Iced-Out Wine Bar, a stylish winter celebration featuring Ferrante’s signature ice wine cocktails alongside Chef Kelly’s curated iced-out culinary features.

Guests can enjoy:

This sparkling winter experience is offered daily from Now through March 31, 2026, and is designed to be savored all season long.

















Progressive Ice Wine Dinner Series

Elevate your Ice Wine Festival experience with the Progressive Ice Wine Dinner Series, a unique drive-yourself dining journey across three estate wineries.

The evening unfolds as follows:

  • 6:00 PM – Cask 307 Winery: Soup and salad course

  • Grand River Cellars: Main course

  • Debonné Vineyards: Dessert course

Each course includes a perfectly paired wine pour and is thoughtfully designed to complement and showcase ice wine. Menus change weekly, offering something new at every event.

  • Cost: $69.95 per person (includes tax and gratuity)

  • Dates: March 6, 13, 20, and 27

After dessert, guests are welcome to stay at Debonné Vineyards and enjoy live music from 6:30–10:30 PM. Debonné remains open until 11:00 PM on Fridays, making it the perfect way to end the evening.



Ice Wine Immersion Experience


Step into the world of winter winemaking with the Ice Wine Immersion Experience, an educational and indulgent guided tasting designed for true wine lovers.

This experience includes:

  • A tasting of Vidal Blanc Ice Wine and Maple Ice Wine paired with a seasonal appetizer

  • An in-depth look at how ice wine is made, from frozen grapes on the vine to concentrated pressing

  • Discussion on why ice wine is so rare and how climate plays a crucial role

  • An Ice Wine Martini Flight featuring creative ice wine cocktails

  • A live cocktail demonstration with take-home tips

  • Ice Wine S’mores for a cozy and indulgent finale

An immersive, educational, and delicious experience—perfect for both seasoned ice wine fans and newcomers alike.

  • Cost: $36 per person

Sunday Ice Wine Brunch

Celebrate Sundays in March with a festive Ice Wine Brunch at Debonne Vineyards, offered throughout the festival.

Each Sunday features:

A rotating brunch item infused with ice wine

Arrival anytime between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM

Tickets are required to ensure availability. Beverages are not included in the ticket price, but mimosas, cocktails, juice, coffee, wine, beer, and sangria are available for purchase.


Ice Carving Demonstrations


Add a little winter magic to your festival visit with live Ice Carving Demonstrations at Debonne Vineyards, taking place on festival Saturdays at 3:00 PM.

Dates: March 7, 14, 21, and 28
